Wall mounted cupboards.(1)             Pages: 1 2 3 4 5 6

We have furnished a lot of kitchens at Ministry of Pine. People usually know what they are looking for when it comes to low-level cupboards and drawers etc, its the top cupboards that are difficult. We usually advise customers to get all the bottom units sorted and then decide what it is you need. This way you do not end up with a lovely glazed cupboard hanging on your wall...exposing all your tins of food.

Our hanging cupboards are usually dresser tops that have been split from the bottom, maybe with glass in the doors, or maybe it has been replaced with wood. We can also make up anything at all from scratch.

Here are some ideas to whet your appetite.  If you want to ask anything at all please do not hesitate to email us.

This is a good example of how a big double cupboard can be totally transformed. This large dresser top was cut in half and had a shelf built across the bottom

This is a good example of making things work. This customer did not want to part with this cupboard, but it was much deeper and did not work on this wall - we cut the depth right down and now it looks like it grew there.

This one was ideal for all those bits in the kitchen that you don't want anyone to see. The original glass was taken out and replaced with solid wood panels.

This little shelf unit with a drawer under is perfect for all those herbs and spices.

This deep cupboard, ended up in a study as it was big enough to hold A4 box files. Even at this stage if a customer wants the cupboard but it is too deep or not deep enough the alterations can still be done.

This bow-fronted cupboard was a stunner, we replaced the glass, but still kept it green like it was originally. A big cupboard - but I think it made the kitchen.

Drawers are always a favourite in kitchens, and why not? They are so useful, these ones are quite large and fill one wall.

This cupboard was totally transformed when our customer wallpapered the inside - what a difference it made.

We get through quite a lot of spare bits here at Ministry of Pine, but nothing ever goes to waste, these drawers make great CD holders.
